TOHOGU1
Coria del Río, a small town in Andalusia, has a rich history linked to Japan dating back to the Keicho Expedition of 1614, when a group of samurai arrived in Spain seeking to establish trade relations. The Keicho Expedition In 1614, samurai Hasekura Tsunenaga led a Japanese embassy known as the Keicho Expedition, with the goal of establishing diplomatic and trade relations with Spain and New Spain (present-day Mexico). This mission was driven by the desire of Japanese feudal lords to open trade routes and strengthen their ties with the West.
