A donation of air conditioning systems was made to the Spanish Red Cross with the aim of improving thermal comfort in various facilities of the humanitarian organisation across the regions of Andalusia, Murcia, and Castilla-La Mancha, ahead of the highest summer temperatures in Spain.

The equipment has been distributed to several locations, including the offices in Cádiz, Granada, Jaén, Murcia, and Toledo, as well as the autonomous logistics centre of Andalusia in Córdoba. These systems will provide climate control in both office and logistics spaces, creating a healthier and more comfortable environment for workers, volunteers, and those who benefit from the Red Cross’s services in these regions.

The installation of this equipment will also contribute to greater energy efficiency within the facilities, an important factor in reducing consumption and emissions.

This solidarity initiative forms part of Mitsubishi Electric’s Corporate Social Responsibility plan and reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainability and support for social initiatives. Additionally, it reflects the company's approach to align its actions with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
