The German Branch in Ratingen opens each year its doors for “Girls' and Boys´ Day” to present Mitsubishi Electric products and solutions in more detail and to offer an exciting insight into the World of Mitsubishi Electric. In addition, the girls and boys can also try their hand for example at programming a robot or at a manual workstation.

Girls' and Boys´ Day is a nationwide orientation day for pupils to raise awareness of gender independence in career guidance that takes place once a year. Through practical experience and orientation in companies the girls and boys are encouraged to be guided less by role clichés and more by their personal strengths and interests.

It is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
