Operaestate Festival, organized by the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa (Italy) and supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture, is one of Italy’s most prestigious and long-standing cultural events. 

For more than four decades, it has brought together artists, audiences, and communities to celebrate creativity in all its forms. The festival transforms the Veneto region into a vibrant stage, hosting performances in historic theatres, charming squares, and open-air locations that highlight the beauty of the territory.

The 45th edition, held from June to September 2025, offered an exceptionally rich program with over 100 events and hundreds of artists from across the globe. Its multidisciplinary approach included theatre and contemporary circus, featuring innovative site-specific productions that reimagined traditional spaces; dance, with internationally acclaimed companies presenting bold and experimental choreographies; and music, ranging from classical concerts in iconic settings to jazz, electronic, and contemporary sounds. This diversity makes Operaestate not only a cultural highlight but also a platform for dialogue between tradition and innovation.
