On Sunday, 1st June 2025, a dedicated team of 13 Mitsubishi Electric Europe Ireland Branch employees proudly participated in the 43rd VHI Women’s Mini Marathon, joining tens of thousands of women and supporters for an empowering 10km journey through the heart of Dublin City. Despite the typical Irish summer weather, spirits were high as colleagues came together with a shared purpose: to make a meaningful contribution to the fight against breast cancer.

Thanks to the generosity of customers, colleagues, friends, family and the wider community, more than €3,500 was raised, including a €1,000 contribution from Mitsubishi Electric Europe Ireland Branch to support the life changing work of Breast Cancer Ireland.
The fun before the race!
Breast Cancer Ireland continues to pioneer innovative research programmes while promoting essential breast health education nationwide. Their mission is to accelerate scientific breakthroughs, enhance treatment options and ultimately transform breast cancer from a life threatening illness into a treatable condition.
This year’s marathon was not just about completing the 10km route; it embodied teamwork, solidarity, resilience and hope. Each participant represented someone’s story, someone’s journey or someone’s future. We are incredibly proud of our Mitsubishi Electric Europe Ireland Branch team for their commitment and for contributing to a cause that touches 1 in 7 women and 1 in 728 men in Ireland. Their dedication continues to demonstrate the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together for a common purpose.
All smiles after the Women’s Mini Marathon – the team got their medal and the sun came out!
