Mitsubishi Electric Europe Ireland Branch was thrilled to exhibit at this year’s WorldSkills Ireland event in the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin. This exciting three day showcase is designed to inspire students and apprentices while highlighting the future of engineering, manufacturing and advanced automation. The event, which brings together industry, education and government, provided the perfect platform for Mitsubishi Electric to demonstrate our commitment to skills development and the future workforce.

Thousand of students gathered for WorldSkills Ireland 2025.

Once again Mitsubishi Electric Europe Ireland Branch sponsored the Industrial Controls Competition, a highlight of the WorldSkills Ireland event. This competition challenges finalists to design and program a tank‑farm control system; an application widely used across industry, using Mitsubishi Electric technologies, including the Compact FX PLC, GOT2000 HMI, and LVS low‑voltage switchgear. These tasks push young technicians to apply advanced troubleshooting, wiring, programming, and control‑logic skills under real‑world pressure.
