Mitsubishi Electric Europe Spanish Branch sponsored the 'Carrera Down Madrid' held at Juan Carlos I Park on 5 October 2025. The race was organized to promote social inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities. It featured three course options (2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km) and took place over a three‑hour period from 10:00 to 13:00.

The XV edition of the race, supported by Mitsubishi Electric Europe for seven consecutive years, was also a great success. Company employees participated as runners, and since the beginning of our sponsorship, more than 45,000 runners have taken part in the event. (During the COVID‑19 period, the race was held online.)

The event is organized by Down Madrid, an association that supports people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities and promotes social inclusion within the community.
